Worn kingpins can cause a number of issues including wandering, loose steering, and even "death wobble". To correct loose kingpins, you must install new bushings in the spindles and then ream the bushings to fit the kingpins. This requires special tools that most people do not have in their home garage. Let Prewar & More handle the hassle and get it right the first time.
You simply remove your spindles and ship them to us. We will remove your worn bushings and clean your spindles. Sandblasting and epoxy priming your spindles is available as an option. Then new bushings will be pressed in and reamed to Ford specs. New grease fittings will be installed and brand new kingpins and bearings will be supplied.
