The transmission is a key component to every car and finding a qualified mechanic to rebuild a 90+ year old transmission can be difficult. Well, look no further and let the experts at Prewar & More get it done right the first time. This rebuild is for 1932-1939 3 speed transmission behind flathead V8.

Every rebuild includes new gaskets, seals and brand new bearings in the highest quality available (no chinese junk). Synchronizer rings are replaced (when applicable). Every transmission case is thoroughly cleaned and sandblast, epoxy prime, and red glyptal interior is an option available. Gears and components are hot tanked clean and inspected for damage or excessive wear before reassembly. Any damaged parts will be replaced at an additional cost. You will be notified of worn or damaged parts and provided with a quote prior to replacement. Clutch shaft and bushings are inspected for wear and replaced and reamed to size if necessary. Gears are assembled and shimmed to factory spec.

*A transmission core is required and you will receive the same transmission back that you sent (rebuilt of course). If you do not have a core, we may be able to provide a core for a fee.
